How Are Ya'll Doing?
Like the title of the post says, How are ya'll doing? Me, well I am doing pretty good. Although there have been some blips in the pathway, I can honestly say I am very blessed. As I write this I am 45 days away from graduating high school. Boy that is real tough. Yes, I said tough, because as excited as I am to finally graduate, It is still a very scary experience for me. Soon it will be college and work that I spend my days on so it not like my life will have a void in it. This is a very good thing because I hate voids.
I thank God every day for the people in my life. I have some very good Individuals who always make sure I am doing what is right. Some just make sure I am smiling. And then I have those people who make me laugh constantly. Some of my friends are a little of all of these. There is another thing to fill the void that I could have in my life.
I am a very big sports person. However despite how good they are, or how bad they are the Boston Red Sox, Indianapolis Colts, San Antonio Spurs , Dale Earnhardt Jr., and the Arkansas Razorbacks can only fill the sports void in my life.
There used to be another huge void in my life, God. Sure I have been in church since I was 9 days old, but church attendance don't take you to heaven. I made a profession of faith early in life. But it meant absolutely nothing because I did not mean it. It took me 'till I was the age of 15 before I accepted Christ as my Savior. I finally found something to fill the void in my heart. If you want to know about Jesus feel free to contact me.
So like I said How Are Ya'll doing today?

I am a big Sports person and I thought today we would look at some of the biggest rants in sports. Press conference rants are sometimes entertaining and sometimes just flat out crazy. Today we look at some of my favorites.

Here are some good sports quotes from some all-time greats.
“Show me a guy who's afraid to look bad, and I'll show you a guy you can beat every time.” Lou Brock
"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination." Tommy Lasorda
“It’s not the will to win that matters—everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” Paul "Bear" Bryant
"To succeed...You need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you."~Tony Dorsett

I sit and think that in Today's society no one pays attention to the finer things of life. Many think that they know what the best things in life are, but don't. The best things in life are the small things that you don't realize are important until they are gone. So take time cherish life and loved ones. I feel that this song sums up My thoughts.
"Back"
Colt Ford (feat. Jake Owen)
Back
When life was simple as that
I didn't know I'd miss it so bad
When this whole world had way less worries, nobody in a hurry and back
To mama's home cookin' and dad
Was baitin' my hook and I'm sitting on a tailgate,
Thinking 'bout those days just
Wish I was
Back
When I think about how it used to be, Lord it was so simple then
Dirt-bike and a fishin' pole at a fishin' hole with all my friends
Nothin' better than a BB gun in my backyard just huntin' squirrels
Took a ring from my mama's drawer and gave it to this little girl
Her mama called mine and then my daddy had to have a talk
I remember like yesterday what he said when we took that walk
"Son don't you ever tell no lie, even if the truth burns"
Everyday my mind goes back to all those lessons learned
And I wanna go
Back
When life was simple as that
I didn't know I'd miss it so bad
When this whole world had way less worries, nobody in a hurry and back
To mama's home cookin' and dad
Was baitin' my hook and I'm sitting on a tailgate,
Thinking 'bout those days just
Wish I was
Back
I remember that Texaco that Mr. Logan used to own
They turned in something else and Mr. Logan's long gone
My best friend David, he grew up ridin' in that wheelchair
Thought I'd give a million bucks if that old boy was still here
Ain't it funny how time goes by and memories seem to fade away
They built a parking lot on the baseball field we used to play
That skating ring is closed down, but now I see us back again
I remember those all night skates, very first dates and my old friend

Wish I was
Back
My dad's gettin' older now but son he's still as tough as ever
Him and my little boy are best friends now, wish it could last forever
My mama is still the one I talk to when I need advice
She never ever let me down
God what will I do when she's not around
